[00:00] Let's take a look at how we would connect Ignition to an Allen Bradley MicroLogix PLC. We first need to log into the configure section of the gateway web page, then scroll down and go to the devices page, under OPCUA server. Next, we're going to click on the 'create new device' link, and make sure we select the 'Allen-Bradley MicroLogix' driver and then scroll down and hit the 'next' button. Here was can configure our connection, like give it a name, I'm going to name mine 'MicroLogix' and then for the host name property we're going to put the IP address of the device, mine is '10.20.7.77' and that's all we really need to do. We can then hit the 'create new device' button at the bottom and it will automatically connect to our device and browse it for any tags. Once we've successfully connected to our device we can see our tags if we scroll down and go to the 'quick client' under OPC connections. Expand the folders here and find our MicroLogix device, we'll see all of our tag folders, we can expand those and see the individual tags inside of them as well.
