[00:00] In Ignition, it is possible to set up gateway backups to be taken automatically. To do this, we're going to need to go to the Configure section and go on down to Gateway Settings. Once here, we're going to scroll down to the bottom of the page, and find a section called Scheduled Backup Settings. Once here, we can enable Scheduled Backups by clicking this check box here, then we need to put in a path to a folder where the Scheduled Backups will be placed, right here. This location can be local to where Ignition is installed, or it can be a networked location. For example, I'm going to make mine the name of a shared folder, that way everyone can see them. The Backup Schedule is where we set how often the backups are going to be taken. It uses a Unix crontab style scheduling string, which you can go online to learn more about. In this default example, we are going to be taking a backup 15 minutes after one hour after every day, of every month, of every day of the week. In other words, 1:15 in the morning, every day. Finally, we set the Retention Count. The Retention Count is the number of backups that get saved before it will start deleting them. By default, we say five, which means that when we're taking the sixth backup, it will first delete the oldest one, before it saves a new one. Once this is all set, the last thing we need to do is go down to the bottom of the page, and click Save Changes.
